This month in history – 50 Years Ago. 

Jack Paar interviews Judy Garland.  Judy Garland was an American actress, singer and vaudevillian. Although she died in her late 40s her legacy lives on. Her early work can still be seen today where she portrayed Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.   It was also quoted  by Fred Astaire that Judy Garland was  “the greatest entertainer who ever lived”.  Some of her other films include  Presenting Lily MarsMeet Me in St. Louis (1944) and  A Star is Born (1954).  In addition to her acting talent, Judy Garland was an amazing singer and was the recipient of two Grammy awards for her musical work.
