A Prayer for 2015

Dear God,

Thank you for 2014 and all your blessings. We now send up prayers to you for 2015.  We pray for a year of hope, peace, love and harmony. We pray for wisdom and understanding in all circumstances. We pray for opportunities to encourage others and share our story. We pray that we will be inspired by the countless men and women who give unconditionally and then join with them to make the world a better place.

We pray for a year of harmonic wealth, individually and collectively. We pray that we will grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and financially. Show us how to connect and learn more about you, our Creator. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge you and you will direct our path.

Lead us to books, groups and studies that help us to grow intellectually in our profession, business, spiritual and social journeys. Empower and motivate us to improve our health with healthy eating and exercise. Show us how to find the emotional balance, the right counseling or mediation that allows us to have emotional harmony.

Finally, show us how to be better managers of our finances, time, talent and other resources. We thank you for all that you have given to us to manage and all that we have shared with others who are in need. We pray that you will multiply what we have given on your behalf to help others back to us 30, 60, and 100 times so that we can give more.

We thank you in advance for grace and mercy this year for self, friends, families and coworkers. We pray that our community and nation will be a place of harmony where we experience love, joy, peace, kindness, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, goodness and self-control. We pray for our president and all the  leaders that YOU allow to be in authority over us. Please give them wisdom in their decisions and empower them to hear your voice and make good decisions.  We thank you in advance for 2015, in Jesus name. ~ AMEN
