Say It Ain’t So – Randy Couture Voted Off Show

First it was Tavis  now Randy Couture, DWTS Season 19 has proven challenging so far for the stars in their fifties. Last week, 50 year old Tavis Smiley was voted off, this week fans saw the charming smile of  51 year old Randy Couture leave the show.  After learning they were in jeopardy  of leaving the show, Randy and dance partner Karina, were the first to take the dance floor. The show was all about the movies, and they performed a paso double routine to “Eye of the Tiger”, the theme song from Rocky.  Although the fans were in Randy’s corner, the judges were not impressed with his moves and gave them a score of  26 out of 40.

As the couple with the lowest score was announced, the crowd appeared to be in shock as Randy and Karina were voted off. Randy responded to host Tom Bergeron by saying  “I’m happy,” “It’s been a great experience. I put myself out there and tried something new. It’s been amazing.” Fans, especially the ladies will miss that charming smile and sexy physique next week, but the show must go on.  Two contestants in their 50s remain on the show, NASCAR race car driver Michael Waltrip and actress Lea Thompson.
